This is sketch #7 over at Scrap Africa.

Here is my take on the sketch

Here are close-ups of my handmade flowers & gold web effect.

This all started when I was busy with my take on sketch 7 over at Scrap Africa.  I remember kids in school playing with their Pritt. They would rub the glue between their fingers & make a web on the opening at the back of the Pritt.

How to create this effect:

You will need a very sticky glue & fine glitter. I used Bostik because it’s nice & sticky.

Then get the glue between your 2 fingers & slowly separate them. So you get a long thin line of glue

WB 3

Now you are going to put these long thin glue lines over your paper. You are going to do this until you are happy with the web like pattern you are creating

WB 4

Now you will sprinkle your glitter onto the paper

WB 5

Shake off the excess glitter & leave to dry. Once it has dried you can now use it for your scrapbook layout or card

WB 6

Here is the card I made using this effect

Thanks for looking :)
