I eventually did my Easter page. I must say we look scary so early in the morning, but we had no chance to get dressed! The kids dragged us out of bead so we could help them find all the eggs that Easter bunny had left them! :)

I chew gum all day and have quite a few STIMOROL boxes. So I decided to play around and this is what I came up with. It makes a great pocket for a card. Also another great project for all your scraps. I also think this would make a great birthday invitation that's inexpensive - still need to play around with that idea.
After making the cards in paper cigar boxes, I don't get rid of any boxes! Good way of recycling - WHAT DO YOU THINK? :)

I know its early to start with Fathers day projects, but you might need some time to find the perfect paper box & this project is great for all those scraps.
What you will need:
- Paper Cigar Box
- Scraps of paper
- Double sided tape
- Craft Knife
- Scraps of denim, buttons, brads etc. to decorate
Step 1 - Start by covering each section of the paper cigar box. I recommend using double sided tape.
Step 2 - Once you have covered the entire box, decorate the front of the box using embellishments of your choice.
Step 3 - Now you are going to make your card for the inside of the box. Measure the width & length of your box. Use card-stock to make the card - the length stays the same, but you need to double the width. Cut & fold in half.
Step 4 - Now you are going to decorate the front of your card using embellishments of your choice.

This is a photo of my Mom - she was a flower girl at her Aunts wedding. So this morning I decided to do this page for Mothers day. I still need to add the date, will do so when her Cousin gets back to us.
This is more of the new paper we got in this week - ain't it gorgeous? :)

I have been searching for sunflower paper and just could not find any!! I think that why its taken me so long to do this page, but the new papers from K&Company are just fabulous and worked perfectly for my page!!
What do you think? :)

I'm just loving 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. This page was inspired by sketch #18.
Yummy! This is my niece on her 4th birthday - when mom was finished making her chocolate cup cakes, she decided to clean the bowl. :)

This weekend I went hunting for the spoons I used on the apron - the ladies love these spoons because each one has a special little message engraved on the handle. On my travels I found a DRESS note pad. So I used a page from the note pad as my template for my dress, for my mothers day card.
I was browsing the web and came across a social network called 52 Sketches... 52 Weeks - this is a weekly sketch challenge site, so I decided to join. Their sketch # 17 inspired me to do this page - FROG.
I'm definitely going to do their weekly challenges! You can also join just go to http://52sketches52weeks.ning.com/
